How do we prepare for the day of our session?

Before your session, I’ll send you a message to help you get ready for your shoot. We’ll go over what will look best on camera, how to coordinate with the setting we’ve chosen, and how to prepare your dog for the session. I’ll also confirm our meeting time and share any other important details to make sure everything runs smoothly.

I’ll include tips on what to bring—like favorite toys, high-value treats, grooming essentials, and anything else that will help your dog feel comfortable and look their best.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Sacramento, California, but yes—I do travel for sessions in certain cases! If you'd like me to photograph your story outside the Sacramento area, a travel fee may apply depending on your location and with advanced notice. Just reach out, and we can chat about the details.

How do I pay for my session?

After we connect, I’ll send you an email with your package options. Once you’ve selected the one that’s right for you, I’ll send an invoice for the full session amount. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and location. The remaining balance will be due before the session.

Please note: If you’d like to include more than one dog, there’s an additional fee of $50 per dog.

How many pictures will we receive?

You’ll get to choose your favorite photos! Within 14 days of your session (often sooner, depending on the season), you’ll receive a link to your private online gallery with all your beautifully edited images.

If you’d like to add more images beyond what’s included in your package, additional photos are available for $35 each.

How long will my session be?

Each dog I photograph is unique, and because of that, I don’t set a strict time limit on our session. I’m committed to taking the time we need to capture beautiful, meaningful images of you and your dog. While sessions typically last at least an hour, we’ll go at your dog’s pace to ensure the best experience and results.
